DVLA utilizes the Quick Address System (QAS) to enable the lookup of addresses from its postal file. The facility enables the quick and accurate return of completed customer addresses and reduces error caused by previous manual keying processes.

  • The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the directive

DVLA needs to ensure continuity of service with the ability to maintain return address accuracy. There is a project in Discovery Phase to look into alternative solutions for DVLA, therefore we need to renew our existing contract whilst this is ongoing, for a period of one year with an option to extend for a further year.

We are unable to procure the service through resellers or via any Government Frameworks therefore STA is appropriate in this circumstance.
