The intention of this EOI is to inform Wales & West Utilities (WWU) and its Alliance contract partners of market options available with regards to Reinstatement and/or provision of Aggregate, Stone (Backfill) and Spoil disposal. Currently Reinstatement and Backfill is provided by a variety of subcontractors and by WWU direct labour organisation. WWU is interested in identifying any opportunities for efficiency by combining services, rationalising the supplier base or streamlining the Reinstatement process. The information gained via this process will be used to inform the scope for a potential, subsequent tender, provide pricing information for budgeting purposes and form the basis of an internal business case for change. Information will be gathered from different suppliers and will be used to evaluate what the market has to offer and potentially which suppliers we should approach for any formal sourcing process. Full details are available in a detailed Expression of Interest document which WWU will issue to you upon receipt of your initial interest. Return of the information required in the Expression of interest document is the deadline date on this notice.
