Pembrokeshire College is a medium sized Further Education college in West Wales employing 395 FTE (Full-time equivalent) staff. We have a CISCO Call Manager 7 PBX with 420 extensions and 500 DDIs (01437 753 000-499). This is currently utilising a fully populated ISDN 30 connection to the telephony network. Pembrokeshire College is at the end of its contract with its current suppliers for voice service and would like to make cost savings and provide a disaster recovery solution by transferring to a SIP solution. Certain telephony suppliers have partnered with Janet to provide SIP trunks via the Janet network. We are therefore running a mini competition via the Janet Telephony Purchasing System.

A 3 years contract to include: 1. Supply of a fully managed integrated platform for fixed line voice via SIP technologies. This should include 30 channels (as per our current ISDN 30 implementation) and the transfer of our existing DDI range to the new service. 2. A complete disaster recovery solution integrated into network services and DDI virtualisation 3. Connection to a reliable and stable network with guarantees that quality of service will be maintained for all telephone calls at all times 4. A combined monthly bill that is accurate, clear and easy to understand and on a single invoice 5. Access to our account 24/7 365 days a year 6. Access to combined multi-service management reporting and drill-down to cost centres 7. Service delivery backed by PRINCE2 Project Management expertise or equivalent 8. Show evidence of companies commitment to the environment and sustainable practices Total contract value below.
